Youth footbal playoffs kick off

Christian Huggins tackles Thunder Elza during the Stigler fourth grade football team’s practice on Oct. 10. The team starts its postseason at Checotah on Oct. 15. Stigler’s fifth and sixth grade teams play at home on Oct. 22 in the playoffs. Meanwhile, the eight-man Super Bowl games will be in Porum on Oct. 15. In both the first and second grade and third and fourth grade contests, Porum will play Sallisaw Central. In the fifth and sixth grade Super Bowl, Keota will play Sallisaw Central.
