Weekly fishing report: Lake Eufaula, Kerr Reservoir

Below are the fishing reports for Lake Eufaula and the Robert S. Kerr Reservoir. Both were submitted on Sunday.

Lake Eufaula

Elevation: Above average

Water temperature and clarity: Normal

Striped bass, hybrid bass, white bass: Action is good with hair jigs, live shad below the dam.

Blue catfish, channel catfish and flathead catfish: Action is good with cut bait and live shad in the main lake and the river channel.

White crappie and black crappie: Action is good with jigs by standing timber.

Kerr Reservoir

Elevation: Normal

Water clarity: Stained

Flathead catfish: Action is good with shad and while noodling around creek channels and rocks.

Largemouth bass: Action is good with crankbaits, jigs and frogs around points, standing timber and weed beds.

Black crappie: Action is slow with jigs and minnows around the main lake and rocks.
