Weekly fishing report for Kerr Reservoir, Lake Eufaula

This is the fishing report for Lake Eufaula and the Robert S. Kerr Reservoir. Both were filed on Sunday.

Lake Eufaula

Elevation: Normal

Water clarity: Murky

Spotted bass: Action is excellent with inline spinnerbaits, other spinnerbaits plasticds and small lures around coves, rocks, sand bars and shallows.

Striped bass: Action is good with cut bait, live shad, shad and top water below the dam.

Blue catfish, channel catfish, flathead catfish: Action can be attained with chicken liver, crawfish, cut bait, dough bait, live bait, shad and stinkbait in channels, coves and the main lake.

Kerr Reservoir

Elevation: Normal

Water temperature: Stained

Black crappie: Action is excellent with jigs, minnows and electric chicken bobby garland jigs around brush structure, creek channels and standing timber.

Largemouth bass: Action is fair with crankbaits and spinnerbaits in shallows and weed beds.

Blue catfish: Action is fair with live shad and punch bait in channels and sand bars.
