Stigler Panthers win season opener, Lady Panthers fall 51-77

The Stigler Panther basketball teams hosted Pocola on Dec. 3 as the season opened with a big night.  

The Lady Panthers kicked off the night and fell 51-77, but not without a hard fought battle from the girls. Saylee Smith had a great night with 17 points, Ralee Parker had seven points, Savannah Seymore had six  points, Madison Needham had five points, Dara Hamlin had seven points, Chloee Smith had five points, and Mattie Self and Kinley Dill each had two points. 

The boys team was on fire, winning 80-48 with Jaxon Calhoun leading the team with 19 points, Devin Wilson had 13 points, Zane Oldham had 10 points, Keiger Good and Ridge McClary each had seven points, Luke Adcock had six points, Caleb Viloria had five points, Korbin Kimberling, Jalen Cloud, and Will Rose all had three points, Keaton Shaffer and Wade Wilson each had two points. 

The Panther teams will host Talihina on Dec. 5, with the Lady Panthers starting things off at 6:30 p.m.
