Coach Wesley Cloud stated, “I think we took positive steps, we’ve been struggling a little bit. We’ve been trying to find a way to close out and win games. We made positive steps towards fixing that. The team hasn’t lost a game since the last time we beat them, which was in January. They’ve been on the road, and we’re fortunate enough to put that on a stall. I feel like we turned it around a little bit. Hopefully, we continue on this week and put a win streak together and pop off the next two ahead of us.”
The Stigler Panthers are currently ranked 9-8, and 6-4 in district. The Panthers will play Heavener on Feb. 8 at 8 p.m.
