Stigler hosts baseball districts, Porum at Tushka for regionals

Stigler is hosting baseball districts today against Heavener, with games at 1:30 and 3:30 p.m. The Panthers (15-13), which are ranked 14th in Class 3A, are looking to start postseason play right against the Wolves (2-16). If necessary, there will be a third game later in the week.

Meanwhile, Porum (22-6) baseball plays Class A regionals in Tushka, starting against Arkoma at 3 p.m. If the 20th-ranked Panthers win, they would likely play the top-ranked Tushka Tigers (24-5) afterwards at 5 p.m. With a loss, Porum would play at 7 p.m., likely against Rattan (14-15). If Porum wins at least one game today, it would continue in regional play tomorrow.
