Stigler girls look to clinch conference title, more area hoops
Stigler's girls basketball team is on a hot streak in the closing stretch of the regular season and has a chance to win the Black Diamond Conference with a win tonight against Pocola. The Panthers have had success against the Indians at home in recent years. Here is a look at the slate of area games.
Stigler vs. Pocola
Girls: Panthers (17-3, ranked 11th in Class 3A) vs. Indians (7-10) 6:30 p.m.

Notes: Stigler has won five straight games. Pocola has won its last two after losing seven of eight. The Panthers score 50.6 points per game while allowing 36 per game. Stigler has rejuvenated its offense lately with 57.3 points per the last four games after totaling 94 points in the three Checotah Crossroads Classic contests.
