Stigler faces test against Howe at home

Stigler softball will put its unbeaten home record (4-0) on the line today as it hosts Howe, the Panthers' third game against a top-10 opponent. The Panthers hope to extend their streak at home before playing a string of games on the road next week. Among other area teams, McCurtain baseball heads to Poteau to start the Carl Albert State College Tournament. Below is the slate of games.
Softball
Stigler (9-4) vs. Howe (9-1, ranked seventh in Class 2A) 4 p.m.
Keota (1-5) at Cameron (0-7) 4:30 p.m.
Last fast pitch meeting: Cameron 3, Keota 2 (Aug. 13, 2016)
McCurtain (2-4) at Arkoma (1-7) 5:30 p.m.
Baseball
McCurtain (4-4) vs. Crowder (4-5) 3 p.m. at Carl Albert State College
