Stigler baseball hosts Crowder for regular-season finale

Stigler baseball hosts Crowder today for its regular-season finale. The 12th-ranked Panthers (14-13) are looking to head into districts on solid footing after losing five of their last six games, most recently an 8-6 road defeat on Thursday at Panama, the 10th-ranked team in Class 2A. Crowder (16-11) is coming off winning its district title at home, winning one against Okay and two against Summit Christian.

Stigler has beaten Crowder twice this season, most recently a 4-1 victory at home.

This is the only area baseball game today. Quinton softball and Porum baseball are expected to receive their regional assignments today.
