Sports schedule changes due to weather

All area basketball games for today have been postponed. Below are basketball schedule updates.

Keota's basketball homecoming has been rescheduled for Jan. 13. The ceremony will be 5:30 p.m. The boys game against Wister will be 6:30 p.m. The girls team will play the Wildcats at 8 p.m.

Stigler's boys team will play the Sequoyah County Classic consolation final on Saturday, Jan. 7, at 3 p.m.

Porum's girls team, which beat LeFlore 64-30 in the first round of the Arkansas River Shootout in Webbers Falls on Jan. 5, will play Oaks-Mission in the semifinal on Saturday, Jan. 7, at 1 p.m. in Webbers Falls' new gym. With a win Porum plays the Savanna-Webbers Falls winner in the final on Jan. 14 at 7 p.m. in the new gym.

Porum's boys team, which lost to Savanna 58-47 in the first round of the Arkansas River Shootout in Webbers Falls on Jan. 5, will play Midway in the consolation bracket on Saturday, Jan. 7, at 2:30 p.m. in Webbers Faills' old gym. A win pits the Panthers against the Oaks-Mission-Watts winner on Jan. 14 at 2:30 p.m. in the new gym.

Kinta's boys team, which beat Calvin 60-30 in the first round of the Dee Foster Invitational in Pittsburg on Jan. 5, will play Achille in the semifinal on Saturday, Jan. 7, at 5:40 p.m. With a win, the Eagles will play in the final on Monday, Jan. 9, at 7:30 p.m.

Kinta's girls team, which beat Wilson (Henryetta) 60-17 in the first round of the Dee Foster Invitational in Pittsburg on Jan. 5, will play Calvin at 4:20 p.m. on Saturday, Jan. 7. With a win, the Eagles would play in the final on Monday, Jan. 9 at 6 p.m. With a loss, they play in the third place game at 3 p.m.

Quinton's boys team, which beat Stonewall 39-36 on Jan. 5 in the Tushka Ameristate Invitational, will play Antlers in the semifinal on Jan. 7 at 5:40 p.m. With a win, Quinton plays in the final on Jan. 9 at 8 p.m. With a loss, Quinton goes to the third-place game at 5 p.m.

Quinton's girls team, which beat Stringtown 31-18 on Jan. 5 in the Tushka Ameristate Invitational, will play Stonewall in the semifinal on Jan. 7 at 4:20 p.m.. The final round will be played on Jan. 9, with the final at 6:30 p.m. and the third-place game at 3:30 p.m.

As scheduled, Stigler's girls team, which beat Roland in the semifinal of the Sequoyah County Classic on Jan. 5, will play Muldrow in the final on Jan. 9 at 6:30 p.m.
