Runners dash with dogs in Fast and the Furriest

Runners take off with their dogs at the start of the Fast and the Furriest 5K run/walk at Roye Park on Sept. 17. Guy Stubblefield won the race in 24:30. Boss Norriwit placed second in 26:30. Brittany Shepherd took third in 27:09. The event was hosted by Chasing Miracles Animal Rescue, a non-profit started this year to broaden area animal rescue efforts.
