Regionals canceled, cheer team moves on to state competitions

Stigler High School’s cheer team was prepared to compete in the Oklahoma Secondary School Activities Association (OSSAA) Regionals on Saturday, Jan 16.
Unfortunately, the OSSAA had to cancel the competition late in the afternoon of Wednesday, Jan. 13 due to the number of squads that have had to leave the regional competition, according to Angie Citty, the Stigler cheer team’s head coach.
All teams automatically qualified for the state competition which will be held on Saturday, Jan. 30 at Union High School in Tulsa, Citty explained.
