Quinton softball regionals at Firelake

Quinton's softball team is playing its Class 3A regional on the Ballfields at Firelake in Shawnee today. The regional was moved from Quinton to Firelake due to field conditions resulting from yesterday's storms. Quinton, which has won about as many games this spring as the previous two slow pitch seasons combined, hopes to work past a pair of 22-win teams to make the state tournament. A team must win two of three games in slow pitch regionals to advance. Below is the regional slate.

Quinton (17-12, ranked 13th) vs. Barnsdall (22-10, ranked seventh) 1 p.m.

Rattan (22-10, ranked second) vs. Crowder (19-15, ranked 14th) 2:15 p.m.

Quinton-Barnsdall winner vs. Rattan Crowder winner 3:30 p.m.

Quinton-Barnsdall loser vs. Rattan-Crowder loser 4:45 p.m.

Game 3 loser vs. Game 4 winner 6 p.m.
