Lake Eufaula, Kerr Reservoir fishing report: Picking spots for bass

This is the weekly fishing report for Lake Eufaula and the Robert S. Kerr Reservoir. Both reports were submitted on Friday.

Lake Eufaula

Elevation: Normal

Water clarity: Murky

White crappie and black crappie: Action is fair with hair jigs, jigs and minnows at the main lake, sand bar and standing timber.

Blue catfish and flathead catfish: Action is good with live bait, live shad and worms at rocks, shallows and shorelines.

Stripes bass: Action is fair with live bait, live shad, plastics and top water below the dam.

Kerr Reservoir

Elevation: Normal

Water clarity: Murky

Largemouth bass and spotted bass: Action is good with Alabama rig, bill baits, crankbaits, in-line spinnerbat, lipless baits, spinnerbaits and tube jigs at points, riprap, the river channel, shallows, shorelines and weed beds.

Blue catfish, channel catfish and flathead catfish: Action is fair with chicken liver, cut bait, dough bait, live bait, live shad and stinkbait at channels, flats and the main lake.
