Lake Eufaula, Kerr Reservoir fishing report: More good times with bass

Here are the weekly fishing reports for Lake Eufaula and the Robert S. Kerr Reservoir. Both reports were submitted on Friday.

Lake Eufaula

Elevation: Above average

Water clarity: Murky

Blue catfish: Action is good with cut bait, dough bait, goldfish and live bait below the dam and near rocks ans sand bars.

Black crappie and white crappie: Action is fair with jigs and minnows around brush structure, the main lake, riprap and standing timber.

Striped bass: Action is excellent with plastics, small lures and top water below the dam.

Kerr Reservoir

Elevation: Normal

Water clarity: Murky

Largemouth bass and spotted bass: Action is fair with Alabama rig, bill baits, flikes, jigs, lipless baits, plastics and spinnerbaits around brush structure, points, riprap, the river channel, shallows, shorelines, standing timber and weed beds.

Blue catfish, channel catfish and flathead catfish: Action is good with cut bait, dough bait, live bait, live shad and stinkbait around flats, the river channel and river mouth.
