Lake Eufaula, Kerr Reservoir fishing report

Here are the weekly fishing reports for Lake Eufaula and the Robert S. Kerr Reservoir. Both reports were submitted on Friday.

Eufaula Lake

Elevation below normal, water 85 and turbid.

Largemouth and smallmouth bass excellent on 10-inch worms around brush structure, on topwater lures in the mornings and on square bill baits around riprap areas.

Crappie fair on minnows and jigs at 10-12 ft. under bridges in the main lake.

Striped bass and striped bass hybrids good on shad and topwater lures below the dam and along the dam.

Robert S. Kerr Reservoir

Elevation normal, water murky.

Largemouth and spotted bass fair on Alabama rigs, bill baits, flukes, lipless baits, small lures and spinnerbaits along channels, in coves, creek channels and standing timber.

Blue, channel and flathead catfish good on cut bait, dough bait, live bait, live shad, shad and sunfish along channels, creek channels, flats, river channel and river mouth.
