Lake Eufaula, Kerr Reservoir fishing report

Here are the weekly fishing reports for Lake Eufaula and the Robert S. Kerr Reservoir. Both reports were submitted on Friday.

Eufaula Lake

Elevation normal, water murky.

Crappie fair on minnows and jigs in the main lake, along shallows and under bridges.

Striped bass good on shad, small lures and topwater lures below the dam and along the dam.

Blue catfish good on chicken liver, cut bait, shad and stinkbait below the dam, along the dam and main lake.

Robert S. Kerr Reservoir

Elevation normal, water murky.

Largemouth and spotted bass fair on Alabama rigs, bill baits, flukes, jigs, lipless baits, plastic baits, rogues and worms along channels, in coves, creek channels, inlet, river channel and river mouth.

Blue, channel and flathead catfish good on cut bait, dough bait, live bait, live shad, shad and stinkbait along channels, creek channels, flats, inlet, main lake, river channel and river mouth.
