Lake Eufaula, Kerr Reservoir fishing report

Here are the weekly fishing reports for Lake Eufaula and the Robert S. Kerr Reservoir. Both reports were submitted on Friday.

Eufaula Lake

Elevation rising, water turbid.

Blue catfish fair on shad, stinkbait, sunfish and worms below the dam, along the dam and river mouth.

Striped bass and striped bass hybrids good on jigs, plastic baits, small lures and topwater lures below the dam and along the dam. Crappie fair on grasshoppers, grubs and minnows around docks, main lake and standing timber.

Robert S. Kerr Reservoir

Elevation normal, water murky.

Largemouth and spotted bass fair on bill baits, jigs and lipless baits along channels, in coves, points and riprap.

Blue, channel and flathead catfish good on cut bait, dough bait, live bait, live shad, shad and stinkbait along channels, creek channels, flats, inlet, river channel and river mouth.

Crappie fair on minnows, jigs and hair jigs in the main lake and around standing timber.
