Fishing report for Thanksgiving week

Below is the weekly fishing report for Lake Eufaula and the Robert S. Kerr Reservoir. Both were filed on Sunday.

Lake Eufaula

Elevation: Dropping

Water clarity: Murky

White bass: Action is excellent with jigs, plastics and spinner baits below the dam.

Black crappie and white crappie: Action is good with hair jigs around brush structure, coves, docks, the main lake and shore lines. Crappie are bitingh best at 10 to 12 feet deep.

Blue catfish: Action is good with chicken liver, cut bait, dough bait, live bait, live shad and shad below the dam.

Kerr Reservoir

Elevation: Normal

Water clarity: Clear

Black crappie and white crappie: Action is good with minnows around channels and standing timber.

Blue catfish, channel catfish and flathead catfish: Action is fair with live shad at the main lake and riprap.

Largemouth bass: Action is slow with rogues and shad-colored suspending rogues on points and rocks.
