Crappie time, more weekly fishing report

Below are weekly fishing reports for Lake Eufaula and the Robert S. Kerr Reservoir, which were filed on Sunday.

Lake Eufaula

Elevation: Dropping

Water clarity: Murky

White bass: Action is excellent with jigs and plastics below the dam.

Blue catfish and flathead catfish: Action is fair with chicken liver, live bait, live shad and stinkbait in the main lake.

White crappie: Action is good with jigs at docks and the main lake.

Kerr Reservoir

Elevation: Normal

Water clarity: Clear

Largemouth bass: Action is good with jerk bait and jigs at the main lake, points and rocks.

Channel catfish: Action is slow with live shad and juglines on flats and the main lake.

White crappie: Action is excellent with jigs and minnows at coves, creek channels, standing timber and pink and green jigs.
