Above are photos from the fall festival hosted at Kinta School on Sept. 29. The fall festival raised money for the senior, junior, sophomore and freshman classes. Each class had booths, and children played games at various spots both outdoors and in the Kinta School Event Center.

Porum cheerleaders receive runner-up plaque

Porum's cheerleading squad earned a co-runner-up finish in the Class 2A state competition on Sept. 24, tying Warner with 198 points. The cheerleaders were presented with their plaque during halftime of the Sept. 30 game against South Coffeyville.
