Wilma Gibson-Wise

Wilma Louise Gibson-Wise went home to her family in heaven on Dec. 15, 2020.

She was born in Porum, Okla. on Jan. 19, 1932, to Clem and Willie Gibson, deceased, of Stigler, Okla. She had one brother, James Elwood Gibson, deceased, of Muskogee, Okla.

Wilma leaves behind a family that will remember her as a feisty, fun-loving lady who put family first.

She leaves behind a daughter, Paula Elsky, and husband, Allan, of Muskogee, Okla. and a son, Craig Wise, and wife, Tammie, of Flower Mound, Texas.

Wilma’s grandchildren were her pride and joy, Jennifer Phipps, and husband, Jodie, of Muskogee, Okla., Tracy Elsky of Muskogee, Okla. and Matthew Wise of Flower Mound, Texas.  She had great joy in watching her great-grandchildren, Jodie Allan, Emma and Leah Phipps of Muskogee, Okla., grow into teenagers.

Funeral services were held at Mallory Chapel in Stigler at 11 a.m. on Friday, Dec. 18, 2020, with the Rev. Vernon Stone officiating. Interment at Stigler City Cemetery was under the direction of Mallory-Martin Funeral Home and Crematory of Stigler.
