Weston Craig Dixon passed away unexpectedly due to heart complications on Sunday, April 18 in Dallas, Texas, at the age of 25. Weston was born in Fort Smith, Ark. on Oct. 1, 1995, to Stephen and Pamela Dixon. Weston spent most of his life in Stigler, Okla. and attended Stigler Elementary, Middle, and High Schools. He spent much of his high school working with the family veterinary pharmaceutical business. He was also active in, and excelled on, the drama and debate teams and enjoyed flying.

He started college at Northeastern State University of Oklahoma and transferred to Oklahoma State University, where he majored in business and was an active member of the Sigma Alpha Epsilon fraternity. Following college, Weston moved to New Mexico to work with his uncles, and then moved to Norman, Okla. and Odessa, Texas, where he found his passion working with BKG Industries in the oil field. Weston was an incredibly talented and hardworking professional who implemented automated oil field technologies and oversaw various technology aspects of the business.

To know Weston was to love him. He had an infectious personality and always greeted everyone with the best hugs and biggest smile, no matter what he was going through. He was a giver – he loved taking care of the people in his life in any way he could, and his humble generosity was always overflowing. You could find him in a baseball cap, driving around the Midwest in his pick-up truck, spending time with his dog, or headed to Best Buy to get the latest electronics.

Weston is remembered by his family as the sweetest son and grandson, an unbelievably loyal brother, fierce protector of his younger sister, a fun-loving cousin and nephew who was always up to play any game or spend time with his family. Colleagues knew Weston as a sharp and dedicated professional who had an incredible work ethic. He would do anything for his work family and never stopped until he finished a job flawlessly – no matter how small or big. His friends thought of him as the kindest and wittiest person, and the life of the party. He left us on Earth far too young and although he is with the Lord, his loss leaves a deep hole in the hearts of everyone he knew.

Weston is survived by his parents Stephen and Pamela Dixon; his older brother and sister-in-law, Grant and Rachel Dixon; his younger sister, Stephanie Dixon; his grandparents Kenneth and Susan Dixon and Sandra Foote; his aunts, uncles, and cousins; and his beloved dog, Nova.

He is preceded in death by his grandmother, Nita Jo Dixon and his grandfather, George Foote.

Public visitation was from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. at Mallory-Martin Funeral Home in Stigler on Thursday, April 22, 2021. Funeral services were held at 10:30 a.m. on Friday, April 23, 2021, at Stigler First Assembly of God. Interment followed at Stigler City Cemetery under the direction of Mallory-Martin Funeral Home and Crematory of Stigler.
