Wanda G. (Quinn) Ford (95) of Cottonwood, Ariz., formerly of Stigler, passed away peacefully on July 7, 2020, at her home in Cottonwood surrounded by many of her family members.

She was preceded in death by her husband of 66 years, Olen D. Ford and one granddaughter, Megan L. Suggs.

Those left to cherish her memory include one son, Stan Ford and wife, Anna, of Stigler; three daughters, Dian Acosta, Deloris Roye and Debbie Suggs and her husband, Owen, all of Cottonwood, Ariz.; three grandsons, Jason Ford of Yucaipa, Calif., David Acosta and wife, Ariel, of Broken Arrow, and Derek Suggs and wife, Raven, of Seminole, Texas; one granddaughter, Heather Ford of Stigler; and three great-granddaughters, Cassidi Suggs and Isabella and Lilly Romero.

Wanda was a stay-at-home mom who enjoyed all types of flowers along with cooking and sewing for family and friends.  She was especially known for her chocolate cream pies and lemon cakes. She put many loving hours into quilting and at last count had created over 50 quilts (all hand quilted and many king size).

Wanda was one of Jehovah’s Witnesses and was instrumental in helping her family have a love for God and respect for the Bible and its high standards. She was a kind and loving person who will be missed by all who knew her.
