Violet Storment

Violet E. (Tucker) Storment was born in Muleshoe, Texas, on June 19, 1928, to Ernest and Mary (Williams) Tucker. She passed away in Garland on May 26, 2019, at the age of 90.

She is survived by one daughter, Sue Allred of Garland; three sons, Jerry Wayne Storment of Garland, Jimmy Storment and wife, Shearley, of Tamaha and Howard Storment and wife, Pam, of Garland; 16 grandchildren; 38 great-grandchildren; three great-great-grandchildren; special family, brother-in-law, James Storment (that she thought of as a son) and wife, Barbara of Tahlequah; brother-in-law, Clifford Storment and wife, Doris, of Eufaula and sister-in-law, Twila Stiles of Stigler.

Violet was preceded in death by her husband, Howard Storment; six sisters, Marie Oldham, Eunice Miller, Alice Forrester, Ruby Hensley, Ernestine Tucker and Jessie Holley; four brothers, Lee Terry, Gene Terry, Nolen Tucker and Bill Tucker; one son-in-law, Alton Allred, Sr.; two grandsons, Baby Allred and Joshua Carry and her parents.

Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. on Thursday, May 30, 2019, at Mallory Chapel in Stigler with Jerry W. Storment and the Rev. Jason Smith officiating. Burial will follow at Garland Cemetery in Stigler under the direction of Mallory-Martin Funeral Home and Crematory of Stigler.

Viewing will be at Mallory Chapel from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. on Wednesday, May 29, 2019; with family visitation from 5 to 7 p.m.

Pallbearers include Alton Allred, Jr., Jimmy Storment, Jeffery Storment, Robert Storment, Bradley Storment and Hunter Storment.

Honorary pallbearers include Haiden Storment, Landon Allred, Ryan Hammons, Matthew Jenkins, James Jenkins, Lucas Storment and Toby Storment.
