Teresa Wiley

Teresa (Stancell) Wiley, 53, of Stigler, passed away in Fort Smith Baptist Hospital, Saturday, July 17, 2021. She was born March 25, 1968, in Fort Smith, Ark. to J.L. and Merliene (Brunson) Stancell. Teresa loved raising her boys, they were the love of her life. She worked in Fort Smith as a medical assistant for many years.

Teresa is survived by her two sons, Tyler Wiley of Stigler and Chase Wiley of Stigler; a brother, Mike Stancell of Tulsa; an aunt, Dorothy Brunson of Lindsey, Okla.; a great-aunt, Georgia Brunson; and several cousins and friends.

Teresa was preceded in death by her parents, J.L and Merliene Stancell; a brother, Ricky Randolph; grandparents, Ira and Peart Stancell and Dovie and Ira Brunson.

A funeral service will be held at 1 p.m. Friday, July 23, 2021, at Keota Victory Worship Center with the Rev. Heath Cole and the Rev. Brandon Mooneyham officiating. 

Pallbearers include Chris Patton, Jaron Minor, Rowdy Pugh, Jake Fobber, Jake Kates and Kendall Waggoner. 

Burial will follow in Garland Cemetery under the direction of King & Shearwood Funeral Home of Stigler.
