Steven Ellington

Steven Ellington of Stigler was born Jan. 7, 1952 in Stigler and was the son of Pat Ellington. He passed away Tuesday, May 16, 2017 in Stigler, at the age of 65.
Steven is survived by a sister, Tomi (Penny) Hamlin of Stigler; a niece, Lisa Corvo and husband, Chris, of New Jersey; two great-nephews, Alex Corvo of New Jersey and Christopher Corvo of New York City; and one great-niece, Maria Corvo of New Jersey.
Steven was preceded in death by his mother, Pat Ellington and his granny, Jewel Watkins.  
He loved to garden, play solitaire on his computer, and play with his two favorite dogs, Rowdy and Bogie.  
He graduated from Stigler High School in the class of 1970 and attended Eastern Oklahoma State College.
He had a work career in the Oklahoma City area, and then retired to his hometown of Stigler.
The graveside service will be 10:30 a.m. Tuesday, May 30, at Stigler City Cemetery with the Rev. David Bigger officiating.
