Sandy (Ivey) Spargo of Stigler was born on Dec. 10, 1950, to Walter and Bonnie (Dalton) Ivey Hughes. She passed away in Fort Smith, Ark., on March 2, 2019, at the age of 68.
Sandy is survived by one daughter, Bonnie “Nicole” Medley and husband, Travis, of Fort Smith, Ark.; one son, Robert Leo Spargo III of Devore, Calif.; five sisters, Sherry McVey, Cherie Boyer, Annette Burd, Tamara Morrison and Michelle Kaveny; one brother, Charles Walter Ivey; one aunt, Willie Mae Bradley; two grandchildren, Ethan Stimac and Ryder Medley of Fort Smith, Ark.; numerous nieces and nephews and a special niece, Tammy Smith.
Sandy was very proud of her work family at Quinton Manor Nursing Home. She loved spending time with her grandchildren, drinking coffee and visiting with her daughter. She will forever be missed.
Sandy was preceded in death by her sisters, Pamela, Joann and Debbie; and her parents.
Funeral services will be at 3 p.m. on Thursday, March 7, 2019, at Mallory Chapel in Stigler.
