Rosa Lee Coyle

Rosa Lee (Longcrier) Coyle of Stigler, was born in Kanima, on June 10, 1941.  She passed from this life on Nov. 17, 2019, in Stigler. 

Rosa married Ollie Ray Coyle on April 28, 1960.  She attended Eastern Oklahoma State College for one year in 1971 and went on to attend Connors State College for one year, where she earned her associate’s degree. Rosa attended Northeastern State College for two years, where she earned her bachelor’s degree.

She retired from Oklahoma Department of Human Services after 27 years of service.

She enjoyed making quilts with her sister-in-law, Shirley Coyle, and trips with her to Branson, Mo.  She was a mother, a grandmother, great-grandmother and a great-great grandmother.  

She had nine children, Jo Coyle of Eufaula, Sue and Louis Grantham of Alma, Ark., Darla and Gary Dowdy of Porum, Kathy and Charlie Wise of Stigler, Allen and Karen Coyle of Mustang, Bobby and Sheila Coyle of Stigler, Gary and Cheryl Coyle of Keota, Sandra and Dearl Blaylock of Longtown and Mike and Honey Coyle of Stigler.

She had 32 grandchildren, 56 great-grandchildren and 22 great-great-grandchildren.

Rosa was preceded in death by her husband, Ollie Coyle; her daughter, Kathy Wise; two grandsons, Randy Pugh and Lucas Niven; her parents, Vestel and Ellen Longcrier; and her sister, Rebecca Prince.

Funeral Services will be held at 2 p.m. on Friday, Nov. 22, 2019, at First Assembly of God Church in Stigler with the Rev. Rick Stout and the Rev. Jason Smith officiating. Interment will follow at Antioch Cemetery under the direction of Mallory-Martin Funeral Home and Crematory of Stigler.

Viewing will be from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Tuesday and Wednesday; and from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. on Thursday at Mallory-Martin Funeral Home in Stigler.  

Pallbearers will be Jerod Coyle, Cody Coyle, Cash Coyle, Cory Coyle, Dakota Coyle and Steven Prince

Honorary pallbearers will be Dylan Hodges, Justin Wise, Louis Grantham, Shane Coyle, Charles Wise and Mikey Bryant.
