Ronnie Bryce

Ronnie Bryce, 64, of Red Oak, passed Sunday, Dec. 11, 2016, at McAlester Regional Hospital. He was born Dec. 21, 1951, in Stigler to Jim and Lavern (Leird) Bryce.
He grew up at Stigler where he graduated from Stigler High School with the Class of ’69. Ronnie continued his education at Eastern State College and NSU. He served his country with the United States Navy for three years. He made his home in Red Oak and began a career in the oilfield and also worked for the State of Oklahoma. Ronnie loved hunting, fishing, camping, and sports. He was an avid outdoorsman.
Ronnie is survived by his three sons, Ronnie Lynn Bryce and wife Tabetha of Whitefield, Wesley Joe Winkle of Stigler, Justin Heath “Bubba” Bryce and wife Lisa of Red Oak; his twelve grandchildren; his sister, Marlyn Coy and husband Mike of Red Oak; his brother, Greg Bryce and wife Melisa of Red Oak; numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and other relatives.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Jim Bryce and Lavern (Leird) Xander; a brother, Larry Joe Bryce.
Services will be held 10 a.m., Monday, Dec. 19 at Red Oak First Baptist Church with the Rev. Johnny Montgomery officiating. Eulogist, Cole Bryce.
Burial will follow immediately to Rock Creek Cemetery under the direction of King & Shearwood Funeral Home of Stigler.
