Robert ‘Bob’ Maxwell

Robert “Bob” Maxwell, Jr. of Stigler was born Feb. 24, 1930,  to Robert Sr. and Irene (Parker) Maxwell. He passed away on April 17, 2018, in Stigler at the age of 88.
He is survived by his wife, Billie of the home; children, Larry Maxwell and wife, Vicki, of Stigler, Kathy Davis and husband, Mike, of Canadian, Steve Maxwell of Stigler, Pam Mitrano of Santa Paula, Calif., Marlon Waldron and husband, Sam, of Santa Maria, Calif.; two brothers, Harold Maxwell of Idaho, Chip Maxwell and wife, Norma, of Broken Arrow; one sister, Mary Lou Herring and husband, Emory, of Wagoner; grandchildren, Barry Maxwell, Sarah Cowan, Jessica Angleson, Bayly Worthington, Casey Whitekiller, Justin Simas, Amy Smith, Ryan Curson, Samantha Waldron, Shane Waldron, Shayne Grimm and Andrea Grimm; great-grandchildren, Elliott, Isabelle, Madeline, Madison, Molly, Savannah, Hunter, Lilly, Kelee, Jolie, Jaxon, Tenlee, Justice, Aria, Gavan, Callan, Dakota, Dylan, Preson, Hudson and Addy.
Bob was preceded in death by his parents, Robert and Irene Maxwell; sons, Bobby Maxwell and Tom Sanders; sisters, Jackie Whiteside and Imogene Gilette; brother, Roy Maxwell.
Bob was a Baptist minister for more than 70 years and he worked for many years at Mallory-Martin Funeral Home.
Funeral services were held at 10 a.m. Saturday, April 21, at Mallory Chapel in Stigler with the Rev. Tommie Parker officiating. Burial followed at Whitefield Cemetery in Whitefield.
Pallbearers were Justin Simas, Shane Waldron, Mike Davis, Steve Maxwell, Ron Baker and David LaPlante.
Viewing was Thursday and Friday from 9 a.m. to 7 p.m. Services were entrusted to Mallory-Martin Funeral Home of Stigler.
