Rev. Ralph Wayne Adcock

Rev. Ralph Wayne Adcock was born in Russellville, on Aug. 7, 1936, to Ira and Edna (Ginn) Adcock. He passed away in Quinton on June 18, 2019, at the age of 82.

He is survived by his wife, Mary Adcock, whom he was married to for 61 years, of the home; three daughters, Janet, better known as Jane, Janice Carol and Gayla Ranee; one son, Michael Hubert; four brothers, Billy Gene Adcock and wife, Jean, of Gulf Shores, Ala., Darrell Adcock and wife, Dorothy, of Russellville, J.O. Work and wife, Linda, of Tulsa and Randy Work of Quinton; five sisters, Claudine King and husband, Kenneth, of Enterprise, Alice Ann Pryor and husband, Ed, of Quinton, Bonita Pearce of Quinton, Shirley Work of Missouri and Janice Work of Quinton; three grandchildren and Zachery Ralph Adcock of the home; numerous great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews

Ralph was preceded in death by one son, Terry Wayne Adcock; one grandson, Tyler Michael Adcock; two brothers, O.C. Adcock and C.J, Adcock; one sister, Kathryn Stephens and his parents.

Funeral services were held at 10:30 a.m. on Friday, June 21, 2019, at Palestine Community Church in Palestine with Rev. Cardell Johnson and Darrell Adcock officiating. Interment followed at Palestine Cemetery under the direction of Mallory-Martin Funeral Home and Crematory of Stigler.

Viewing was from 1 p.m. to 7 p.m. on Wednesday, June 19, 2019, and from 1 p.m. to 7 p.m. on Thursday, June 20, 2019, with family visitation from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m., at Mallory Chapel in Quinton.

Pallbearers were Ralph’s nephews. Honorary pallbearers were Keith Pryor, Kenneth King and Ed Pryor.
