Rebecca Carney

Rebecca Mae Carney was born in Stigler, Okla. on June 14, 1955, to Sampson and Laurie (Ott) Carney. She passed away in Duncan, Okla. on Dec. 31, 2020, at the age of 65.

She is survived by her son, Marion Thrasher of Stigler, Okla.; her friend, Bernon Mayhall of Stigler, Okla.; and two special dogs, Half Pint and Little Bit.

Rebecca was preceded in death by her parents, Sampson and Laurie Carney.

Viewing was held at Mallory Chapel in Stigler from noon to 5 p.m. on Saturday, Jan. 2; from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Monday, Jan. 4; and from 9 a.m. to noon on Tuesday, Jan. 5.

Graveside services were held at 1 p.m. on Tuesday, Jan. 5, 2021, at Stigler City Cemetery with Bro. Tommie Parker officiating. Interment was under the direction of Mallory-Martin Funeral Home and Crematory of Stigler.
