Randy Lietch, Jr.

Randy Jay Lietch, Jr., was born in Fort Lauderdale, Fla., on July 1, 1969, to Randy Jay Lietch, Sr. and Anna M. (Hall) Lietch. He passed away in Gore on June 28, 2019, at the age of 49.

He is survived by his mother, Anna Lietch Adams and Leo of Porum; his brother, Christopher Lietch of Edmond; nephews, Ethan Lietch, Trevor Lietch and Seth Lietch of Edmond and numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.

Randy was preceded in death by his father, Randy Lietch, Sr.; his maternal grandparents, Tyre and Ruby Hall; his paternal grandparents, Albert and Olga Lietch and one aunt, Linda Hall.

Randy graduated from Porum High School Class of 1987. He joined the Marine Corps, serving six years of active duty and then served in the Marine Corps Reserves for several years. He graduated from the University of Oklahoma Law School and practiced law before working for the Bureau of Indian Affairs until he retired.

He loved hunting, fishing and spending time with family.

Graveside services were held at 10:30 a.m. on Wednesday, July 3, 2019, at Fields Cemetery in Porum with the Rev. Wayne Lindsey officiating. Burial was under the direction of Mallory-Martin Funeral Home and Crematory of Stigler.

Viewing was at Mallory Chapel in Porum from 9 a.m. to 7 p.m. on Monday, July 1, 2019, and Tuesday, July 2, 2019.

Pallbearers were Mark Henley, Rusty Gaither, Tyre “Bud” Thomas, Ethan Lietch, Mike Shamblin and James Daniel.

Honorary pallbearers were Steve Lietch, Trevor Lietch and Rocky Gaither.

Military honors provided by Stigler VFW #4446.
