Patsy Ferguson

Patsy Jo (Flanagan) Ferguson was born in Lepanto, Ark. on Sept. 23, 1936, to James Will (J.W.) and Ruth (Jones) Flanagan. She passed away on Feb. 1, 2021, in Stigler, Okla. at the age of 84.

Patsy is survived by her brother, Mike Flanagan of Tulsa, Okla.; her children, Judy Gentry of Stigler, Okla., Gwyn Barnes and husband, Danny, of Springdale, Ark., Paul Ferguson and wife, Rhonda, of Pocola, Okla., Chris Ferguson of Broken Arrow, Okla. and Joe Ferguson of Stigler, Okla.; her grandchildren, Mark Oldham, Luke Oldham, Heather Pierce, Kimberly Pierce, Robby Ferguson, Victoria (Tori) Ferguson and Sarah Escalona; her great-grandchildren, Landon Smith; Caleb, Dylan, Chloe and Liam Oldham; Ruby Oldham; Zach Nichols; and Temara, Erik, Aaliyah, Demetria and Kiyah George; and her great-great-grandchildren, Peyton and Paislee Lorings and Nialey and Kiayni George.

Patsy was preceded in death by her parents, J.W. and Ruth Flanagan; her husband, Bob Ferguson and her granddaughter, Kristi Ferguson.

Viewing was held at Mallory Chapel in Stigler on Wednesday, Feb. 3 from 9 a.m. to 7 p.m.; on Thursday, Feb. 4 from 9 a.m. to 7 p.m.; and on Friday, Feb. 5 from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m.

Funeral services were held at Stigler First Baptist Church on Friday, Feb. 5 at 2 p.m. with the Rev. Daniel Milligan officiating. Interment followed at Antioch Cemetery under the direction of Mallory-Martin Funeral Home and Crematory of Stigler.

Pallbearers were Robby Ferguson, Luke Oldham, Victor Escalona, Rock Humphries, Richard Trent and Paul Ferguson.
