Patricia Garrett

Patricia Grim-Garrett, 70, of Quinton passed away Saturday, Oct. 29, 2016, at McAlester Regional Hospital.
She was born April 2, 1946, in Bakersville, Calif., to James Masterson and Bessie (Brents) Masterson.  
She grew up in Bakersville, Calif., where she received her education.
After high school she began working at a Neon Light factory. During this time she married Laddie Grim in San Diego, before relocating together to Quinton in 1979.  
After the passing of Mr. Grim in 1997, she met Kenneth Garrett and they married soon after in 2000.
She will always be remembered as loving to cook, being a member of the Rebekah’s, being an active member of her church, and most of all spending time with her grandchildren.
She is survived by two grandsons, Joe Grim and wife Annie of Quinton and Eric Grim and wife Kaitlin of Sallisaw; two stepsons, Wayne Grim, Brian Grim; one stepdaughter, Becky Grim; her niece, Gina Davis; her great niece, Stormy Davis; as well as numerous honorary grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and cousins. She was preceded in death by her parents, James and Bessie Masterson; her husband, Laddie Grim; her husband, Kenneth Garrett; one son, Robert “Bicycle Bob” Grim; one brother, Wayne Masterson; step-siblings, Kenny Flick, Millie Flick; two uncles, Frank Masterson, J. Brents; and one aunt, Beth Brents;
Funeral services will be held 10 a.m., Thursday, Nov. 3 at Lona Valley Baptist Church with the Rev. Dennis McClard officiating.
Burial will follow at Quinton Cemetery under the direction of King and Shearwood Funeral Home of Stigler.  
Pallbearers will be Jim Wimberly, Nathaniel Brake, Jason Burch, Thomas Tom, Darick Poague and Darrell Poague.
