Norma Reasnor

Norma Sue Reasnor, 81, of Stigler, passed away Sunday, Aug. 9, 2020 in Haskell County Nursing Center of Stigler. She was born January 27, 1939 in Quinton to Stanley and Lorene (Carter) Wilson.

Sue grew up at Smithville and Maysville where she graduated. In 1957 she married Jack Reasnor. They made their home together at Kinta where they started a family. She began a career with Dr. T.H. Conklin, Jr. as a receptionist and insurance file clerk where she worked for many years. Sue will be remembered as an excellent seamstress, she loved gardening and attending her kids ball games and stock shows. She adored her grandchildren especially Luke and Levi.

Sue is survived by two daughters, Pamela Brorsen and husband Dennis of Perry and Penny Kirkland and husband, Kenny, of Stigler; one son, Pat Reasnor of Quinton; six grandchildren, William Hamby and wife, Kayla, Justin Lee and wife, April, Brandon Lee and wife, Michelle, Luke Reasnor and wife, Ashley, Levi Reasnor and wife, Kendra, Cody Reasnor, Sydney Kirkland, Autumn Smith and husband, Brandon; one sister, Mary Hill of Wilburton; one brother, John Wilson of Perry. Sue was preceded in death by her parents, Stanley and Lorene Wilson; her husband, Jack Reasnor; an infant son, David Allen Reasnor; one grandson, Cory Reasnor Casinger; her father and mother-in-law, Doyle and Oleta Reasnor; her brothers and sisters-in-law, Willis and Mary Reasnor, Ramona Barnard Gormley and Ted Barnard and Leo Reasnor; and a nephew, Willis Reasnor, Jr.

Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. Wednesday, Aug. 12, 2020 at the R.E. Shearwood Memorial Chapel with Pastor Jack Sloan officiating. The Eulogist was the Rev. Tommie Parker. Pallbearers will be Brandon Smith, Luke Reasnor, Levi Reasnor, Justin Lee, Johnny Wagnon and Tommy Reasnor.

Burial followed to Sans Bois Cemetery under the direction of King & Shearwood Funeral Home of Stigler.
