Nancy R. Forrester

Nancy R. Forrester, 63, of Van Buren, Ark., passed away Saturday July 8, 2017, in a local nursing home.
She was retired from Van Buren School District as a teacher’s aide. She was a member of First Baptist Church in Van Buren and a lifelong resident of Crawford County. She was a loving wife and mother and she loved children, especially babies.
She was preceded in death by her mother and father-in-law, Martha and Wilburn Forrester.
Graveside funeral service was at 10 a.m. Wednesday, July 12, 2017, at the Antioch Cemetery near Stigler, with burial at Antioch Cemetery under the direction of Ocker Funeral Home in Van Buren, Ark.
She is survived by her husband of 40 years, Tom Forrester of the home; two daughters, Stephanie Dybdal of Panama City, Fla. and Staci Dressel of St. Louis, Mo.; a son, Dr. Aaron Forrester of Conway, Ark.; three sisters, Marilyn Spence, Mary Juarez and Jane Kidd of Van Buren; one brother, Johnny Jack of Van Buren; five grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
The family visited with relatives and friends, Tuesday, July 11, 2017, from 6 to 8 p.m. at Ocker of Alma Funeral Home, 917 Highway 64 East, Alma, Ark.
