Nancy Blalock

Nancy Lynn Blalock, 61, of Eufaula, passed away on Aug. 8, 2018.

Nancy was born on May 2, 1957, in Oklahoma City to L.D. and Mary Sue (Vaughn) Blalock. She graduated from Putnam High School in 1975. Nancy worked many jobs through her early years, but found her passion in caring for others as a certified nurse’s aide for the past 30 years. She liked helping people and loved dogs and cats. Nancy loved books, visiting with people, especially her patients and the librarians at the local library. She was a wonderful friend and kind to all she met.

Survivors include her mother, Mary Blalock, of Eufaula; brothers, Larry D. Blalock and wife, Kathy, of Oklahoma City and Michael L. Blalock, of Eufaula; and one niece, Jessica Kay Blalock. 

She was preceded in death by her father, L.D. Blalock, in 2003.

A memorial service was held at 1 p.m., Friday, Aug. 10, 2018, at the Church of God with pastor Roger Burns officiating. Cremation arrangements were made with Hunn Black & Merritt Funeral Home & Crematory. Online condolences may be made at www.hbmfuneralhome.com.
