Mittie Fern Few

Mittie Fern Few of Stigler was born Aug. 6, 1924, in Stigler, to John and Janie Pugh Stubblefield. She passed away Monday, Sept. 26, 2016, in Stigler at the age of 92.
She is survived by three daughters, Patsy Coleman of Pawnee, Bonnie Turner and husband Greg of Woodward, Velma Wagnon and husband Keith of Arkansas; four sons, Henry Few and wife Glenda of Whitefield, John Few and wife Linda of Quinton, Ron Few and wife Sheila of Enid, Delmer Few and wife, Tammy of Stigler; one sister, Virgina Hulbert of Oklahoma City; 21 grandchildren, 31 great-grandchildren; 10 great-great grandchildren, numerous nieces and nephews, and various relatives and friends.
Mittie was preceded in death by her husband, Birton Few; parents, John and Janie Stubblefield; brothers, Jimmy Stubblefield, Floyd Stubblefield and Carl Stubblefield; and one sister, Willie Guinn, and two sons-in-law, Jim Coleman and Terry Floyd.  
She enjoyed gardening and spending time with family.
Services will be held 2 p.m., Friday, Sept. 30 at Whitefield Baptist Church with the Rev. Tommie Parker and the Rev. Coy Mike Few officiating.
Burial will follow at Mountain Home Cemetery under the direction of Mallory-Martin Funeral Home & Crematory of Stigler.
Pallbearers will be her grandsons.
