Millie Allen

Millie Marie Allen, 97, of Stigler, passed away Monday , October 11, 2021 in Haskell County Regional Hospital in Stigler. She was born October 29, 1923 in Kanima, Oklahoma to Benjamin & Ollie (Henson) Peevyhouse.

Millie Peevyhouse married Loyd Franklin Allen July 8, 1937. He passed away in 1986. They had been married 49 years.

She loved her church where she attended at Antioch Baptist, loved feeding her birds and squirrels. She loved her family & church family.

Millie is survived by her 2 daughters & a son-in-law & a fiance`, Joyce & Don Totty of Bixby; Retha Anthony & Tim Schultz of Enid; 13 grandchildren; 20 great grandchildren; 25 great-great grandchildren; 4 great-great-great grandchildren; a brother & sister-in-law, Leslie & Ida Peevyhouse of Durant; numerous nieces & nephews.

Millie is preceded in death by her parents, Benjamen & Ollie Peevyhouse; her husband, Loyd Allen; 2 sons, Johnny Lee Allen & Loyd Thomas Allen; a daughter, Linda Allen; 5 brothers, Ernest, Clarence, Wilburn, Jesse & Harlen Peevyhouse; 2 sisters, Mildred Williams & Ruby Smith; grandchildren, Teresa Totty & Mindy Totty Shatto.

Funeral service will be 11:00 a.m. Friday, October 15, 2021 at Antioch Baptist Church with Mr. Bill Self officiating & Eulogist Reverend Jim Bob Kirk. 

Pallbearers include Weston Zachry, Zane Oldham, J.D. Forrest, Lonnie Peevyhouse, Steve Smith.

Burial will follow in Whitefield Cemetery under the direction of King & Shearwood Funeral Home of Stigler.
