Mildred “Micki” Roye

Memorial services for Mildred “Micki” Lea Roye will be Saturday, Feb. 2, 2019, at Greater Refuge United Pentecostal Church located at 1301 Main St., in Quinton. Service begins at 1 p.m. with a meal to follow. 

Micki was preceded in death by her father, John D. Roye and her daughter, Vanessa L. Mantooth. 

She is survived by a sister, Denise A. Mantooth and husband, George Mantooth, both of Quinton; a brother, Sean Roye and wife, Allison Roye, of Wyandotte; son, Freddy Pugh of Arkansas; daughter, Crystal Marie (Pugh) Peterson and husband, Jarrod C Peterson, both of Claremore; grandchildren, Destiny Lahue, Kassidee Pugh, Caitlyn Pugh, Noah Peterson, Garrett Peterson, Latasha Merritt, Hannah Peterson, Lillian Merritt and Dakota Peterson; close family friends, Linda Taylor and husband, Doug Taylor, and their children of Tulsa  and spiritual family and friends. 

Micki enjoyed her family and spoiling her nine grandchildren. She worked as a registered nurse beginning in 1988 and continuing until her death. Micki’s hobbies included photography and the art of Holistic Healing. This was a hobby she was very passionate about and she used it along with her many years in traditional medicine to improve the lives of all she loved and helped. She was deeply rooted in her spirituality and her connection to nature. She will be missed by all who knew her.
