Michael Nelson

Michael Allen Nelson, 36, of Quinton went to be with the Lord on Friday, April 21, 2017, at his home. He was born on Oct. 30, 1980, in Tucson, Ariz., to John and Ada Nelson.
He was a great man who enjoyed his family and friends.
He is survived by one brother, John Nelson Jr., of Tampa Fla.; three sisters, Jessica and husband Don Carroll of Stigler, Allison and husband, Lucas Rea of Stigler, and Kattie Mallard of Stigler; grandmother, Pat Brown of Enterprise; uncles, Tom and wife, Terry Nelson of Enterprise, and Don Woodward of Stigler; one aunt, Sue and husband, Howard Nixon of Tucson, Ariz.; 13 nieces and nephews; and cousins, Nicole, Mike, Crystal, Cynthia, Yuanita, Michelle and many more.
He is preceded in death by his maternal grandparents; as well as his Uncle James; and Aunt Laurinda Nelson.
A memorial service was held at 3 p.m., Wednesday, April 26 at the VFW in Stigler. Arrangements were under the direction of Mallory-Martin Funeral Home of Stigler.
