Melva Lane

Melva Catherine (Nolen) Lane, of Stigler was born Sept. 9, 1927, in Stigler, to Everett and Thelia Harvel Nolen. She passed away Wednesday, Jan. 18, 2017, in Stigler, at the age of 89.
She is survived by one daughter, Jackie Pryer and husband, Glenn of Hobbs, N.M.; one stepdaughter, Judith Hadley and husband, Bill of Stigler; one son, Bill Lane and wife, Judi of Horseshoe Bay, Texas; one sister, Kay Pugh of Owasso; 15 grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild.
Melva was preceded in death by her first husband, Pershing “Perk” Lane; second husband, Robert “Bob” Reavis; parents, Everett and Thelia Nolen; and a sister, Evelyn Tatum.
Graveside services were held Jan. 21 at Stigler City Cemetery with the Rev. Vernon Stone officiating.
Arrangements were under the direction of Mallory-Martin Funeral Home & Crematory of Stigler.
