Megan Lori Suggs, 40, of Stigler was born Nov. 30, 1978, in Fayetteville, Ark. to Deloris Roye and Glen McQueen and passed away on Sept. 11, 2019, from an unexpected bout with lung cancer.

Megan’s priority was always her family. She loved spending time with her daughter, Cassidi, and husband, Russell, taking in movies, sporting events or just hanging around home enjoying a little down time. Megan was very involved in the community, serving as Booster Club President, on the board of directors at the Chamber of Commerce, as well as countless other activities in the community. Megan spent her days running several businesses such as Rosewood Industries and CES Inc. with her business partner, best friend and mother, De.

Megan is survived by her husband, Russell, of the home; her daughters, Cassidi E. Suggs, of the home and Pepper R. Suggs, of Stigler; her son, Cory Suggs and wife, Christa, and family of Missouri; her father, Glenn E. McQueen and wife, Beverly, of Springdale, Ark.; her mother, Deloris E. Roye of Cottonwood, Ariz.; her grandmother, Wanda Ford of Cottonwood, Ariz. and two half-sisters, Callie and Jessi McQueen of Springdale, Ark.

Megan was preceded in death by her maternal grandfather, Olen D. Ford and her paternal grandparents, Jess and Maxine McQueen.

Viewing was from 9 a.m. to 7 p.m. on Friday and Saturday at Mallory-Martin Funeral Home in Stigler.

Cremation services conducted by Mallory-Martin Funeral Home and Crematory of Stigler.

In lieu of flowers, the family has requested that donations be made to Megan Suggs Memorial Scholarship Fund at Farmers State Bank in Stigler.
