Martha Holt

Martha Lou (Davis) Holt was born in Keota on May 23, 1921, to Samson Wiley and Louisa (Sumner) Davis. She passed away in Muskogee on July 11, 2019, at the age of 98.

She is survived by two sons, Curtis Holt and wife, Velma, of Owasso and J.W. Holt of Stigler; one sister, Linda Nelson of Keota; one brother, Kirksey Davis; one daughter-in-law, Linda Holt of Stigler; grandchildren, Vicki Winden and husband, Eric, of Tulsa, Kelli Browning and husband, Chris, of Muskogee, Kristi Smith and husband, Tommy, of Poteau, LaWayne Holt and wife, Melissa, of Greenwood, Ark., Layle Holt and wife, Irene, of Stigler and Mike Holt and wife, Allison, of Tahlequah; 14 great-grandchildren; 15 great-great-grandchildren; one grandson-in-law, Steve Baskins of Owasso and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.

Martha was preceded in death by her husband, Henry Holt; two sons, Harold and Howard Holt; one granddaughter, Pam Baskins; six brothers; six sisters and her parents.

Funeral services were at 2 p.m. on Tuesday, July 16, 2019, at Mallory Chapel in Stigler with the Rev. Dean Moore officiating. Interment at Old Cache Cemetery in Keota under the direction of Mallory-Martin Funeral Home and Crematory of Stigler.

Viewing was from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Saturday and from 9 a.m. to 7 p.m. on Monday with family visitation from 5 to 7 p.m. at Mallory-Martin Funeral Home in Stigler.

Honorary pallbearers were LaWayne Holt, Layle Holt, Mike Holt, Tyler Baskins, Blake Winden, Chris Browning and Tommy Smith.
