Mae Wright

Mae (Cogburn) Wright was born on Oct. 3, 1942, in Mena, to Mitchell and Bessie (Hendrix) Cogburn. She passed away in Stigler, on Dec. 16, 2019, at the age of 77.

She is survived by three sons, Sam Wright and wife, Paula, of Stigler, Michael Wright and wife, Dana, of Stigler, Dennis Wright and wife, Jill, of Whitefield; her grandchildren,

Hunter Bowen, Jacob Wright and Allison Wright; her sisters-in-law, Jean Cogburn of Mena, Wanda Cogburn of Mena, Ark and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

Mae was preceded in death by her husband Arthur Wright; her parents, Mitchell and Bessie Cogburn; and her brothers, William Cogburn, John Cogburn and Joe Cogburn.

Funeral services will be held at 10 p.m. on Thursday, Dec.19, 2019, at West Liberty Baptist Church with Bro. Tony Randol, Bro. Tommie Parker and Bro. Danny Minton officiating. Committal will be at 3 p.m. at Board Camp Cemetery near Mena, Ark. under the direction of Mallory-Martin Funeral Home and Crematory of Stigler.

Viewing was from 9 a.m. to 7 p.m. on Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday at Mallory-Martin Funeral Home in Stigler.

Pallbearers are Tracy Rust, Dennis Satterfield, Randall Pearce, Kenneth King, Doyle Wagnon and Arlanda Eakle.

Honorary pallbearers Gene Hendrix, Dean Hendrix, Danny Hendrix, Dale Cogburn and  Keith Williams.
