Lucille Tyler
Lucille Upton Peck Tyler was born in Quinton, Oklahoma on January 21, 1924 to Agnes and Andrew Upton. Soon after they moved to Kinta, Oklahoma where she attended school. She met and married Austin Peck in 1940. They made their home in Stigler, Oklahoma in the Perry Community. They had three children, Ann, Wayne and Donna.
In 1968 Lucille met and married Ben Tyler. They made their home in Stigler, Oklahoma and ran a tractor repair shop. Lucille worked at Shelton’s Market for many years. She also worked at the Dollar Store, Ben Franklin and different doctors in Stigler.
Lucille attended and was a member of Perry Freewill Baptist Church since 1940. She always volunteered to be a delegate at the 4th Sunday meetings and attended every one she was able to.
Lucille was also a Grandma for the Kibois Headstart for 15 years. She loved on those babies and treated them as her own. She was Foster Grandmother of the Year for two years in a row.
Lucille loved her kids and grandkids, but she adored her great grandkids. They were the light of her life.

Lucille was preceded in death by her parents, Agnes and Dewey Palmer and Andy and Susie Upton; two husbands, Austin Peck and Ben Tyler; three brothers Charles Upton, Joe Upton and Billy Palmer; one sister-in-law Edith Upton; and one grandson, Jimmy Doss.
Viewing will be held at Mallory-Martin Funeral Home in Stigler from 11:30 am to 7:00 pm on Monday, October 4.
A Funeral Service will be held at 10:30 am on Tuesday, October 5 at Mallory Chapel in Stigler with Kevin Hendrix officiating. Interment will follow at Garland Cemetery under the direction of Mallory-Martin Funeral Home and Crematory of Stigler.
