Little Eatmon

Funeral services for Little Willie Eatmon, 84 of Stilwell, Okla., formerly of Keota, Okla. will be at 10 a.m. on Friday, July 23, 2021, at Mallory-Martin Funeral Home Chapel in Spiro, Okla. with Pastor Norman Bland officiating. Burial will follow at New Hope Cemetery in Spiro, Okla. under the direction of Mallory-Martin Funeral Home of Spiro, Okla.

She was born on Feb. 6, 1937, in Hugo, Okla. to Beatrice Viola (Sheeks) Bland and William Paul Bland and passed away on July 9, 2021, in Stilwell, Okla. She was married to Presley “Pete” Leroy Eatmon.

Little was preceded in death by her husband, Presley “Pete” Leroy Eatmon; son, Danny Eatmon; sisters, Pat Phillips and Benita Rowland; and brothers, Daniel Bland, George Bland, Claude Gooch and Otto Bland.

Little Willie Eatmon was the oldest girl of six children. She grew up helping to care for the others while working along side their dad in the fields, wherever he was. When she got grown she worked in a sewing center for a while, then as a nurse. She ran two daycares with her husband until his health no longer allowed it. She loved to crochet and make dolls. In her later years she enjoyed quilting with her sister-in-law, Ruth Bland, as well as other friends and family. She grew up going to church. She really enjoyed the fellowship, the music and praising God.

Survivors include her sons, Dennis Wayne Eatmon and Daymon Edward Eatmon; sister, Mary Webb; brother, Norman Bland and wife, Ruth; numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, other relatives and loved ones.

Viewing will be Thursday, July 22, 2021, from 9 a.m. to 7 p.m. with the family greeting friends from 5 to 7 p.m. at the funeral home.

Pallbearers will be Justin Sims, James Fisher, David Bland, John Van Hoff, Traven Brown and Dalton Murchison.
