Lindsey Upton was born on April 8, 1952, to Joe and Edith (Peck) Upton. He passed away on Feb. 20, 2021, in Stigler, Okla. at the age of 68.

He is survived by two sons, Danny Upton and wife, Sheila, of Sallisaw, Okla. and Jacky Upton and Leesha Dunbar of Tulsa, Okla.; grandchildren, Dylan Upton of Sallisaw, Okla., Emma Upton of Stigler, Okla., Dawson Upton of Sallisaw, Okla. and Harper Upton of Red Oak, Okla.; great-grandchild, Ivy Huff of Guthrie, Okla.; sisters, Linda Blanchett of Stigler, Okla., Angie Hendrix and husband, Kevin, of Stigler, Okla. and Lana Smith and husband, Dallas, of Stigler, Okla.; bonus grandchildren, Elisha Huff and husband, Zach, of Guthrie, Okla., Tyler McMahan and wife, Jacqueline, of Colorado Springs, Colo. and Trey McMahan and fiancée, Ashley Crowder, of Broken Arrow, Okla.; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Lindsey was preceded in death by his wife, Ok Sun Kim Upton; his parents, Joe and Edith Upton; brothers, Dale Upton and Leon Upton; and his brother-in-law, Dayle Blanchett.

Viewing was held at Mallory Chapel in Stigler from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday, Feb. 22, 23 and 24.

Graveside services will be held at Garland Cemetery at 2 p.m. on Friday, Feb. 26, 2021, with John Henry Parsons and Kevin Hendrix officiating.

Honorary pallbearers will be Gary Wallen, Oklahoma Highway Patrol, Kevin Hendrix, Dallas Smith, David Cantrell, Rodney Bibee and Brent Underwood.
